THE LEADING INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE FOR THE GLOBAL POLYURETHANES INDUSTRY
R. Zsanett Boros has been working as a Development Engineer at the Process Technology Support Unit of Wanhua-BorsodChem (Kazincbarcika, Hungary) since 2014 and she started her PhD in 2015 at the University of Miskolc (Hungary). Her specialisation is the optimisation of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) synthesis.
Zsanett graduated in chemistry from the University of Debrecen. Her thesis project was studying the hydrogenation mechanism of 2,4-dinitro-toluene. She also earned her English Hungarian Natural Science Translator degree at the University of Debrecen.
Zsanett started her PhD studies in 2015 in the field of computational chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr Béla Viskolcz and Dr Milán Szőri. She is currently working on the optimisation of technological processes using the results of computational chemistry calculations and laboratory experiments. The first achieved results are published in Reaction Kinetics, Mechanisms and Catalysis with the title of ‘Industrial Application of Molecular Computation on Dimerization of Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate’. As a novel study, she started the examination of MDI based biopolymers. Already two international poster presentations have been introduced in this topic studying the reaction mechanism of MDI with biological motifs.
Zsanett is self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic about her job. She is involved in the new developments of Wanhua-BorsodChem.
